7 tips for cleaning panels in Rajasthan

1. Clean early morning or evening. Never clean hot panels in the afternoon — cold water on hot glass can cause micro-cracks.
2. Use soft water and a soft sponge. Jaipur's hard water leaves white mineral stains. If possible use RO-reject or filtered water; never harsh chemicals or detergents.
3. No hard brushes, no pressure washers. They scratch the anti-reflective glass coating and void warranties.
4. Rinse first, wipe second. Let water loosen the sand first — wiping dry sand acts like sandpaper on glass.
5. Clean more often in summer & after storms. April–June dust activity is highest. A quick monthly rinse keeps output steady; after a major dust storm, clean immediately.
6. Never walk on panels. Use a soft mop with an extension handle from the parapet, or call professionals for high roofs.
7. Track your generation. If your inverter app shows a sudden drop on a clear day, dirt is usually the culprit — time to clean.
