Raavi Solar ("we", "us") operates raavisolar.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our website or enquire about solar installation, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this deliberately short and in plain language.
Information we collect
When you submit an enquiry form, request a site survey, or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect only what we need to respond to you:
- Your name, mobile number, email address and city or area
- Property type, approximate monthly electricity bill and the system capacity you are interested in
- Any message or details you choose to write to us
- If you used the savings calculator, the estimate it produced, so our engineer can discuss the same numbers with you
We do not ask for and do not want your Aadhaar number, bank details, passwords or any payment information through this website. Documents required for a PM Surya Ghar subsidy application are collected separately and only after you become our customer.
Analytics and cookies
Like most websites, we use analytics tools to understand how visitors use our pages so we can improve them. These tools may set cookies in your browser and collect anonymous, aggregated information such as pages viewed, time spent, approximate city-level location, device type and how you arrived at our site.

- To prepare and send you a written quotation
- To assist with your PM Surya Ghar subsidy application and DISCOM paperwork, if you engage us
- To provide after-sales service, maintenance reminders and warranty support
- To send occasional updates about subsidy changes or offers, only if you subscribed
We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to any third party. We share it only where genuinely necessary: with the government portal and your electricity DISCOM when filing your subsidy and net-metering application on your behalf, with manufacturers when registering your equipment warranty, and with the service providers who run our website forms and analytics. Everyone we work with is expected to keep your data confidential.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not convert are kept for up to three years, after which they are deleted. Customer records are kept for the life of your system warranty because we need them to support warranty and service claims. You can ask us to delete your details sooner at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to show you what information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, delete your details, or stop contacting you. Just call or WhatsApp 92145 67383, or email info@raavisolar.com, and we will action it within seven working days. To stop newsletter emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email.
Security
Our website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection and enquiry data is transmitted securely to our team inbox. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable commercial measures to protect your information and we limit access to the staff who need it.
