Terms of Service
The terms that apply to our quotations, installation work and this website.
These terms apply to the use of raavisolar.com and to quotations and installation work provided by Raavi Solar. Please read them before placing an order. Nothing here limits any right you have under Indian consumer law.
About the prices shown on this website
All prices, savings figures, generation estimates and payback periods shown on this website are indicative and based on 2026 Rajasthan market conditions. They are provided to help you plan and are not a binding offer. Your actual price depends on the panel technology chosen, inverter brand, roof type and height, structure elevation, cable run, distance from our Jaipur base and prevailing GST. A binding price is given only in a written, itemised quotation issued after a physical site survey, and it is normally valid for 15 days.
Savings calculator and EMI estimates
The calculator on this website is an estimation tool. It assumes about 5.5 peak sun hours per day, roughly 5 units generated per kW per day, 3% annual electricity tariff escalation and normal panel degradation. Real generation varies with shading, roof orientation, dust, weather and your own usage pattern. EMI figures are illustrative only; actual loan approval, interest rate and tenure are decided solely by your bank, and we are not a lender or a financial advisor.
Government subsidy
PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana is a Government of India scheme. Raavi Solar assists you with registration, documentation and the claim process free of charge, but the subsidy itself is sanctioned and paid by the Government directly into your bank account. We cannot guarantee approval, the amount, or the timeline, as these are entirely outside our control. Subsidy rules, rates and eligibility may be changed by the Government at any time. The scheme is available for residential connections only.
Site survey and your responsibilities
- The site survey is free and carries no obligation to buy
- You confirm that you own the roof, or have written permission from the owner to install
- You will provide safe access to the roof, and a water and power point during installation
- Information you give us about your electricity connection, sanctioned load and consumption should be accurate, as the system design depends on it
- Structural soundness of the building is your responsibility; we will inform you if a roof appears unsuitable
Payment and cancellation
Payment terms are set out in your quotation and are typically an advance on order confirmation, a stage payment on material delivery and the balance on commissioning. Goods remain our property until paid for in full. If you cancel after material has been ordered or delivered specifically for your site, reasonable costs already incurred may be deducted from any refund. If we cannot complete an installation for a reason within our control, we will refund what you have paid for the incomplete portion.
Warranties
Solar panels, inverters and other equipment carry the warranty of their original manufacturer — typically 12 years product and 25 to 30 years linear performance warranty on panels, and 5 to 10 years on inverters. These warranties are given by the manufacturer, not by Raavi Solar, and we will help you raise and follow up any claim. Separately, we warrant our own installation workmanship for 5 years and include scheduled maintenance visits during that period.
Warranty does not cover damage caused by lightning or other acts of nature beyond design limits, physical impact, theft, unauthorised modification or repair by a third party, or failure to keep panels reasonably clean.
Net metering and DISCOM approvals
Net metering, technical feasibility approval and meter installation are carried out by your electricity distribution company such as JVVNL, AVVNL or JdVVNL under RERC regulations. We prepare and follow up the applications, but approval timelines, inspection schedules and export tariffs are decided by the DISCOM and regulator, and may change. Delays caused by the DISCOM are outside our control.
Website content and intellectual property
The Raavi Solar name, logo, text, layout and design of this website belong to Raavi Solar and may not be copied or reused without written permission. Brand names of manufacturers mentioned on this site belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the equipment we supply. We try to keep all information accurate and current, but content may contain errors or become out of date, and we may change it without notice.
Limitation of liability
We are responsible for carrying out our work with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with any installation is limited to the amount you paid us for that installation. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost business or estimated savings that did not materialise due to weather, shading, changes in tariff or subsidy policy, or your own usage pattern. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan. We would always prefer to resolve any concern by talking to you first — please call us before anything escalates.
